An Excerpt from the Plan:
"The Obama Administration’s Making Home Affordable program will offer assistance to as many as 7 to 9 million homeowners making a good-faith effort to make their mortgage payments, while attempting to prevent the destructive impact of the housing crisis on families and communities. It will not provide money to speculators, and it will target support to the working homeowners who have made every possible effort to stay current on their mortgage payments. Just as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act works to save or create several million new jobs and the Financial Stability Plan works to get credit flowing, the Making Home Affordable program will support a recovery in the housing market and ensure that these workers can continue paying off their mortgages." read more

The information above is on this site as a Public Service.  I will not earn anything except knowing I have tried to help my fellow man in his time of need.  Unfortunately, not everyone will qualify for this loan program.  However, mortgage rates are at all time lows, so please check into refinancing.

You can help me by reading the paragraph below and completing a short, simple form.

This site will connect you with Lenders licensed in your state.  It's FREE, it's Fast, it's For Real.  LoanApp has been around for over 10 years, so you know your information is safe and secure.  Thanks, Burt Jamison.

Instructions on what I think you should do to try to save your home and prevent foreclosure are in the last paragraph below.

In  December 2008 FNMA issued Announcement 08-33: Introduction of the Streamlined Modification Program, detailing the program originally announced in a November statement by Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Director James B. Lockhart.

The SMP was developed in collaboration with FHFA, the Department of Treasury, Freddie Mac, and members of the HOPE NOW Alliance. Under the program, Loan Servicers (the company that you send your payments to) will use a streamlined loan modification process to help eligible borrowers better afford their monthly mortgage payments. This process lets these borrowers sign a single document at the beginning of the workout process that both establishes a new monthly payment during a three month trial period and sets the modification terms that will take effect at the end of the trial period if the borrower makes the trial period payments without being late. The SMP applies to borrowers who have missed at least three monthly payments on their existing mortgages.

For complete details on the program click this link and do some research.  Then call your Loan Servicer  and  ask if you are eligible for the NEW Modification Program.  Be sure to get aquatinted first by visiting and reading the details and guidelines of the plan, because the Loan Servicer customer representative may say they are not familiar with it, but you will be.  You may be able to save your home and avoid foreclosure.

Please let me know if you have any success.  I will post your success story on this web page.

Best Wishes, Burt Jamison

There are no set guidelines in this situation...

It is usually in the borrowers best interest to make the mortgage payments even if it means other payments may fall behind (call for details)...

We will require a letter of explanation, after reviewing this and the preliminary application we will offer our suggestions on how we may be able to help...
